Prezident Brown (born Fitzroy Cotterell in Clarendon, Jamaica), previously released cuts under the name of Junior Ranking and Slim Brown, He was named Prezident Brown by producer Jack Ruby who took him under his wings. He is a champion of the new roots and reality consciousness reggae music. I captured him here on the west coast leg of his 49 city US tour.
